Spaghetti Traverse
The "Spaghetti Tour" is a breathtaking 5 day alpine adventure that weaves along the border between Switzerland and Italy. This epic journey ascends several 4000-meter peaks while traversing high, glaciated terrain, in a magnificent circular route located to the south and east of Zermatt. The tour commences in Zermatt, and we use the robust Swiss lift infrastructure to get up high and begin the itinerary. Along the way, we will stay in the Italian mountain huts, which inspired the tour's unique name while eating some of the best High Mountain cuisine in the region. One of the highlights is the Margherita hut, positioned at an astonishing altitude of 4554 meters (14,900 feet), making it the highest hut in the Western Alps.
